Runner Up: Acoustic Guitar Workshop

Acoustic Guitar Workshop is clearly presented in a basic, step by step layout. Each lesson introduces a new aspect of playing acoustic guitar. The lessons include helpful notes, photo's & diagrams, guitar tabs and mp3s to compare your playing to. So while you don't get the "bells and whistles" of the Jamorama package, Guitar Made Easy is very well priced and a large step ahead of the rest of the guitar learning packages available online.

Third Place: Guitar Made Easy

Guitar Made Easy is our number 3 site. This course provides a cheaper alternative to learning guitar. It comes in at a very good price and covers the guitar and its accessories well. You get a good, basic introduction to guitar chords, tab exercises and gets you to the point where you can start to play songs. However Guitar Made Easy doesn't include audio files, these make perfecting your guitar playing alot easier.

Fourth Place: Stripped Down Guitar

This book covers the absolute basics of learning how to play the guitar so that you can get playing in your first weekend. There is little to carry on with after your first weekend though and we felt this book is overpriced given the lack of content. However it does contain some useful tips and is worth a read.
